Images and messages like this really bother me. Mostly because I don’t know a single guy who expects any woman to look like a VS model. I feel like women have this idea in their heads of all men as chauvinists and pigs, people with high expectations and impossible standards. Of all the men I’ve discussed this idea with, none came across as disgusting and insensitive as women portray men to be. In fact, all of the men I know have pretty realistic standards; a girl who they find attractive, a girl they actually like, someone who makes them happy, someone with similar values, morals, ideas, someone they enjoy being with. It’s pretty simple. No guy I have ever encountered has had “perfect body” or “unachievable beauty” on their list of qualifications. How about we all stop man-hating and give our opposite gender a little more credit and respect?
